Howse Williams ("HW"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, on 28 April 2021, advised the placing agent, Haitong International Securities, as the Hong Kong legal counsel, on the HK$231 million placing of shares of EC Healthcare (formerly known as Union Medical Healthcare Limited) to Dr Adrian Cheng JP and Aspex Master Fund.
EC Healthcare is principally engaged in the provision of medical and healthcare services and is the leading non-hospital medical service provider in Hong Kong. It is also the largest medical aesthetic service provider in Hong Kong.
The HW team was led by corporate partner, Brian Ho. The team had lead responsibility for legal documentation and general transaction management.
