Howse Williams advises on the listing of Vanov

Howse Williams ("HW"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, advised CMBC Capital, the sole sponsor, CMBC Securities, the sole global coordinator and joint bookrunner and other underwriters, as the Hong Kong legal counsel, on the HK$139 million listing of the shares of Vanov Holdings Company Limited (“Vanov”) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

 

Vanov is a high and new technology enterprise that is engaged in the design, manufacture and sales of papermaking felts. It is ranked fourth of the leading papermaking felts manufacturers in the PRC in 2020. Papermaking felts are fabrics used in the papermaking machines for dewatering, pressing, forming and drying of paper in the papermaking process and are consumables with a replacement cycle of approximately 30 to 180 days. Vanov provides comprehensive papermaking felts services to its customers, from conducting on-site visits and advising its customers on the types and specifications of papermaking felts, to sourcing suitable raw materials for its production, conducting quality control, delivering papermaking felts to customers and providing after-sales services.

 

The shares commenced trading on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 11 January 2022, under the stock code 2260.

 

The Howse Williams team was led by partners, Brian Ho and Denise Che. The team had lead responsibility on the drafting of the prospectus, in the preparation of various legal documentation, providing advice to the underwriters on corporate and regulatory issues, communicating with the regulators and undertaking general transaction management.
