Howse Williams ("HW"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, advised Hongcheng Environmental Technology Company Limited ("HC Environmental"), as the Hong Kong legal counsel, on its HK$215 million global offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
HC Environmental is a gold mine hazardous waste treatment company based in Shandong province, the PRC, focusing on (i) gold mine hazardous waste treatment; and (ii) recycling and extracting therefrom resources with economic value for sale. It is the second and third largest gold mine hazardous waste treatment company in Shandong province and in the PRC, respectively. First Shanghai Capital acted as the sole sponsor, sole global coordinator, bookrunner and lead manager. The shares commenced trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 12 November 2021.
The HW team was led by partner, Brian Ho. The team had lead responsibility for reorganisation, legal documentation, corporate and regulatory issues, communication with the regulators and general transaction management.
